In August 2010 I received an invitation to join the organization Twin Towers Go Global as the first artist in residence for their Artists & Scholars Reinvent World Trade Program. Excited by the high stakes set by TTGG, I accepted the invitation on September 2nd, 2010. Conscious of the possible criticisms and objections of many people whose opinion I respect, I have expressed my reasons for accepting the invitation in a public statement.

In terms of authorship, most of my work for TTGG’s International Memorial Reconstruction will be absorbed by the organization. For the same reason, none of this work will appear on my blog or website, and will only be represented by TTGG platforms and communications in any way they see fit. I have, however, come to a special agreement with them regarding any installations, paintings, or other works from my Phantom Limbs series. As I began Phantom Limbs in October 2001, a time when I was living in New York, and long before TTGG even came together as an organization, this painting and drawing series will be free of any authorship claims or influence by TTGG. Updates and information on that series will therefore continue to appear on this website, mostly under the Phantom Limbs heading.
